A Photo Story

We've been giving Riley rattles to play with the last few weeks. Sometimes he likes it sometimes not so much. Here is a picture of him with the rattle from his Aunt Corie that he seems to like. It has smaller plastic bars in the middle that he can grasp really well so he seems to like it the best.

Now that we think there is a chance he might be teething I've also been trying out this new teething/rattle combo. I got it as a baby shower gift and thought it was a little scary because when you bite down on it, it vibrates. But it is very soft and gooey and Riley seems to like it. Every now and then he can bite down enough to make it vibrate and it doesn't seem to scare him like I thought it would. Normally he wants me to hold it for him but here he is trying it on his own.

Here he is realizing that he is hungry and teethers and fingers just aren't going to suffice.
